With a strong rural soil and water focus and emphasis upon the study of specialist topics including water and wastewater treatment, mine site rehabilitation and salinisation, you will be equipped to tackle environmental issues head on in the fields of the rehabilitation of mines and landscapes, water resource and conservation, salinisation, irrigation structures, environmental studies and research.
Professional accreditation
As a graduate of the Bachelor of Engineering Technology, you will eligible to apply for membership with Engineers Australia as an Engineering Technologist. After gaining some experience from working in the field, you can apply for chartered status as an Engineering Technologist.
