With USQ’s Bachelor of Engineering Technology, you have the opportunity to build upon the experience you have had working in the trade industry or begin study in the area of Infrastructure Management and start off your career in construction. As the only program in Queensland that combines construction and management and allows students to complete their course within three years, USQ graduates who complete this program will have the skills and knowledge to make it as a successful Engineering Technologist.

With focus upon the study of management skills, construction technology, problem solving, law, health and safety, finance, engineering sciences and the principles and practice of modern construction project management; you will be prepared to work as a Building and Construction Manager or Construction Technologist in construction and consulting engineering through the areas of including local and other Government authorities, councils and roads and transport.

Professional accreditation

As a graduate of the Bachelor of Engineering Technology, you will eligible to apply for membership with Engineers Australia as an Engineering Technologist. After gaining experience from working in the field, you can apply for chartered status as an Engineering Technologist.
