What will I study?

Clinical experience

You will be need to complete 840 hours of clinical experience as part of your assessment of your clinical courses.

This clinical experience will primarily be in the Toowoomba Health District and surrounding areas (USQ Toowoomba students) and the Fraser Coast Health District (USQ Fraser Coast students) and surrounding areas.

Placements can occur in blocks (2 – 4 weeks full-time attendance), or within an allocated two-day-per-week program (completed over a 10-week period).

Clinical experience

In addition to the courses listed below, you will also need to complete clinical experience, where interactive hands-on activities, such as experiments and use of specialist equipment, are undertaken. 

Professional experience

In addition to the courses listed below, you will also need complete professional experience. These experiences provide you with opportunities to put theory into practice.
