With a focus on climatology, ecology and conservation, the Bachelor of Science (Environment and Sustainability) is designed for those of you wanting to explore environmental science, biodiversity conservation, and practical aspects of climate change mitigation and adaptation and natural resource management for more a sustainable future. Want to understand more about major environmental issues and the social, political and environmental implications of human impacts on the globe? We look forward to sharing our knowledge and experience with you.

Careers - towards sustainability

Are you passionate about working in resource management, biodiversity conservation or climate change? Specifically, our graduates find work as Climatologists, Climate Scientists, Climate Policy Analysts, Conservation and Biodiversity Managers, Environmental Consultants, Environmental Scientists and Natural Resource Managers. Industries and employers you may find yourself working for include the resources/mining industries, National Parks, universities, defence organisations, CSIRO, State and Federal Government Departments, the Australian Bureau of Meteorology and many other ogranisations contributing to sustainable utilisation and management of our natural resources. Some of our graduates also choose to work as Science Teachers (with further study) or Science Journalists.
