Bachelor of Social Science (Social Science and Anthropology)
Studying the Bachelor of Social Science (Social Science and Anthropology), you will cover a wide range of topics, including the nature of human behaviour and how people live and work together in various kinds of social groups. Your studies can be used to address some of society’s most compelling questions on war, gender, discrimination, racism and other equal divisions of power.
At USQ, Anthropology goes beyond the traditional idea of studying remote societies and cultures, and looks at the social and cultural experiences of our own lives.
Careers for the anthropologist
Careers that await you upon completion of your degree include social planning, community development and social policy, as well as a wide range of public service and welfare occupations, and in cultural heritage and Native Title consultancy.
