Music Teacher

What is a Music Teacher?

Music teachers educate school students in the curriculum area of music and work in public and private schools. They teach students the theory and practical skills associated with developing their musical skills including teaching them musical concepts, theory and history, preparing creative practical activities and providing aural training, among many others duties. They may also be involved with organising school musicals, choirs and concerts.

Music teachers may also choose to work as private music tutors.
