Start your business qualifications with a bite-sized chunk

The Diploma of Business Administration is perfect if you are a bit unsure about studying at uni and would like to start with a bite-sized chunk. The Diploma is a qualification in its own right, and can stop there if you want to. But it is also a pathway to a Bachelor degree, which means that the eight courses you have studied can count towards your degree.

Gain a business knowledge foundation

You will generally complete four core courses plus four electives chosen from the business areas that interest you. If you have any questions, it is best to have a chat with one of our Student Relationship Officers. If you are considering continuing onto a bachelor degree, your choice of courses may have an impact later.

Further study

After completing the Diploma of Business Administration, you can potentially go into a Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Commerce, or Bachelor of Information Technology.

Career opportunities

As a graduate, you will be provided with general business knowledge in preparation for a career in a number of areas within public or private sector national or global organisations. Depending on the courses you select, you may seek career opportunities within the disciplines of human resources, marketing, administration, information technology, supply chain management, tourism, small business management, international business and commerce.
