Because we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to try out university studies, access to our Diploma of Engineering and Spatial Science Foundations is open to everyone and all applications are accepted.  We promise a personalised learning journey that will provide you with a great foundation for academic success.  

This foundation diploma is designed to introduce you to university studies in the field of engineering and spatial science. You will complete four core courses to develop skills in problem solving, mathematics and physics plus four additional courses where you will sample courses from our engineering and spatial science degrees. If you are considering continuing onto an Associate Degree, your choice of courses may have an impact later.

Further studies

When you complete your foundation diploma you will be ready to pursue a degree in engineering or spatial science with USQ. If you choose to do some further study, you may even receive up to six months off your Associate Degree of Engineering or Associate Degree of Spatial Science.

Career opportunities

As a graduate, you will be provided with general engineering and spatial science knowledge in preparation for a career in a number of areas within the sector.
