Entry requirements

  • Completed a Masters with a ‘credit’ average or an undergraduate Honours (I or IIa) degree, or equivalent qualification in Education or a cognate field relevant to the proposed area of study from a recognised university
  • Documented record of (normally) 3 years full-time equivalent of professional or teaching experience in a field relevant to the proposed area of study and be currently or recently employed in professional practice.

English language requirements

  • IELTS: 6.5 (or better) (no component lower than 6.0)
  • TOEFL (paper based): 570 (or better) (with minimum test of written English score of 5)
  • TOEFL (electronic): 230 (or better) (with essay rating of at least 5)
  • TOEFL (internet based): 90 (or better) (with 20 minimum in all bands)
  • Pearson (PTE Academic): 58 (or better) (with no communicative score lower than 58)
  • Singapore, Hong Kong, British 'O' Level English: 'C' or better
