Do you need to improve your English skills?

USQ Access College offers English language programs for students from non-English speaking backgrounds. The English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS) is designed to improve your English language skills. You can study ELICOS for future study, career or personal reasons.

We’ll support you all the way

As an ELICOS student you can access great teaching and support in a friendly caring environment. ELICOS classes are small and you will have the opportunity to build your confidence and make new friends.

ELICOS includes five levels of English study. Each level takes 10 weeks to complete. You could start your studies in any of these levels, depending on your current English language skills or your IELTS results.  ELICOS is flexible to suit your needs and we will work with you to start your studies at the best level for you. 

Further study

ELICOS aims to prepare you for further study. When you complete level five of ELICOS, you could choose to go on to study USQ’s English for Academic Purposes to prepare you for university study.
