- 3-year bachelor degree or equivalent in a discipline other than education
- applicants for the Primary pathways must demonstrate adequate coverage across the P-7 Learning Areas in the first degree or other studies by submitting a completed Teaching Areas form (PDF 130 KB) with their application. (Please read the Guide to Teaching Areas (PDF 222 KB).)
NOTE
A compulsory induction must be undertaken prior to your first semester of study. This will be in February for Semester 1 commencement or June for those commencing in Semester 2. The induction is offered in online mode for both semesters.

Applying directly to USQ for the Graduate Diploma of Learning and Teaching:
- Semester 2, 2013 - applications close 24 June 2013
- Semester 1, 2014 - applications close 10 February 2014
Credit for previous study or work experience
You may be
eligible for credit if you have previously studied or have relevant work experience. This will help to reduce the number of courses that you need to study to finish your program.
Alternate pathways to university study
A number of other
pathways are also available if you haven’t been able to study previously or don’t meet the requirements for entry into your program of interest.
