Entry requirements
- 3-year bachelor degree or equivalent in a discipline other than education
- applicants must show how their prior studies meet these requirements by submitting a completed Teaching Areas form (PDF 130 KB) with their application. (Please read the Guide to Teaching Areas (PDF 222 KB).)
- Minimum IELTS score of 7.5 with no component below 7.0 (for applicants for whom English is not their first language) in any of the 4 skill areas, and a score of no less than 8 in speaking and listening
Note: This program is only available to international and Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents who are offshore students.
An online induction is required prior to the commencement of study.

Applying directly to USQ for the Graduate Diploma of Teaching:
- Semester 2, 2013 - applications close 24 June 2013
- Semester 1, 2014 - applications close 10 February 2014
Credit for previous study or work experience
You may be
eligible for credit if you have previously studied or have relevant work experience. This will help to reduce the number of courses that you need to study to finish your program.
Alternate pathways to university study
A number of other
pathways are also available if you haven’t been able to study previously or don’t meet the requirements for entry into your program of interest.
