Whether it’s on stage or behind the scenes, our Master of Arts (Theatre) can make your dream of working in theatre a reality. As one of the long-established actor-training institutions in Australia, we have over 30 years of experience in training students to broaden their skills through creating, producing and showcasing their work.
This master’s degree will offer you an advanced understanding of the nature and impact of drama and theatre in human society. It will develop your skills in critical analysis and problem solving, allowing you to explore the intersection between theory and practice in theatrical contexts.
You will have the opportunity to showcase your talents through annual performances such as the Children’s Festival and Shakespeare in the Park Festival. There are also opportunities to be involved in the creative development of new work and innovative pedagogy and to work with industry professionals.

As well as giving you the skills to advance you in your established career, this master’s degree will prepare you to work as a collaborative artist, events manager, play and screenwriter, arts administrator, secondary teacher (with further study), community arts officer and youth arts officer.
