Credit for previous study or work experience

You may be eligible for credit if you have previously studied or have relevant work experience. This will help to reduce the number of courses that you need to study to finish your program.

Alternate pathways to university study

A number of other pathways are also available if you haven’t been able to study previously or don’t meet the requirements for entry into your program of interest.

• Alternate entry 1: Candidates who do not have a degree will be permitted to enrol in the Postgraduate Certificate in Business (Business Foundation), provided they have a minimum of three years full-time equivalent relevant work experience, as determined by the Director of Coursework Studies. Upon completion of the Postgraduate Certificate in Business (Business Foundation) and the achievement of a minimum GPA of 4, they will be eligible to articulate into the Master of Business Administration.
   
• Alternate entry 2: Candidates who have a degree but do not have a minimum three years full-time relevant professional work experience will be permitted to enrol in the Postgraduate Certificate in Business (Early Career) only. Upon completion of the Postgraduate Certificate in Business (Early Career) and achievement of a minimum GPA of 4, they will be eligible to apply for the Master of Business Administration.

• IELTS: 6.5 (or better) (no component lower than 6.0)
• TOEFL (paper based): 570 (or better) (with minimum test of written English score of 5)
• TOEFL (electronic): 230 (or better) (with essay rating of at least 5)
• TOEFL (internet based): 90 (or better) (with 20 minimum in all bands)
• Pearson (PTE Academic): 58 (or better) (with no communicative score lower than 58)
• Singapore, Hong Kong, British 'O' Level English: 'C' or better
