Entry requirements
- 3-year bachelor degree in business, commerce or a related field from a recognised university
- Minimum GPA of 5.0 on a 7.0 point scale in undergradute degree, or a minimum 5.5 for the 2nd and 3rd years of the degree
- Applicants intending to undertake a dissertation in information systems must have prior studies in information systems or computing.
- On application, candidates must be able to provide an outline of the dissertation topic they intend to pursue

Domestic research students (Australian and New Zealand) can apply directly to USQ.
Admission is dependent upon the Faculty's capacity to supervise the proposed projects. Prospective candidates should consult with the Associate Dean (Research) before preparing their project proposals. Research concentrations are updated periodically.
Closing dates
Applications may be submitted at any time, but it is ideal to allow a minimum of 20 working days between when you submit your application and the start of your requested semester.
