Industry and research focus

The Master of Computing Technology (Extended) is designed with industry and research in mind. If you have completed an undergraduate degree in any discipline and you want to work in computing, this degree will meet both your academic and vocational needs. You will gain skills and knowledge in key areas of computing, including networking and system security, software and the web.

You will also have the opportunity to study a four-unit research project - if you choose to do further research; this will qualify you for PhD studies.
