The Guidance and Counselling specialisation generally meets the registration criteria for the Queensland Guidance Counselling Association. Students from outside Queensland who are intending to use this major for professional accreditation should consult the relevant registration bodies.

Students seeking employment as a guidance officer in Queensland will usually require a four year degree as a prerequisite to entering this program. You should check the requirements with your prospective employer prior to enrolling.
