Master of Engineering Technology (Civil Engineering)

USQ’s Master of Engineering Technology (Civil Engineering) is ideal for engineers or scientists who want to extend their knowledge of civil engineering.

Through USQ’s Master of Engineering Technology you can decide the path of your study with the option to take a 12 unit coursework studies pathway or undertake 8 units of coursework plus a 4 unit project and research dissertation. Within your coursework you will develop research methodology skills and focus on the areas of infrastructure design, planning, development, construction and maintenance and gain knowledge in road and street engineering, concrete structures and structural design.

The research project and dissertation is a stepping stone to further research degrees, such as PhD.

You may also be able to graduate sooner with a Graduate Certificate in Engineering Technology after completing 4 units.

The Master of Engineering Technology is not accredited by any professional bodies other than the University of Southern Queensland.
