Master of Engineering Technology (Mechanical Engineering)

USQ’s Master of Engineering Technology (Mechanical Engineering) is ideal for engineers or scientists who want to extend their knowledge of mechanical engineering.

Through USQ’s Master of Engineering Technology you can decide the path of your study with the option to take a 12 unit coursework studies pathway or undertake 8 units of coursework plus a 4 unit project and research dissertation. Your coursework will develop your research methodology skills and prepare you for a variety of areas relevant to your major including: materials technology, heat transfer and energy technology.

The research project and dissertation is a stepping stone to further research degrees, such as PhD. Previous projects have included tensile properties of glass powder.

You may also be able to graduate sooner with a Graduate Certificate in Engineering Technology after completing 4 units.
