Master of Engineering Technology (Structural Engineering)
USQ’s Master of Engineering Technology (Structural Engineering) is ideal for engineers or scientists who want to extend their knowledge of structural engineering.
Through USQ’s Master of Engineering Technology you can decide the path of your study with the option to take a 12 unit coursework studies pathway or undertake 8 units of coursework plus a 4 unit project and research dissertation. Within your coursework you will develop research methodology skills and gain knowledge in concrete structures, structural design and construction.
The research project and dissertation is a stepping stone to further research degrees, such as PhD. Previous student projects have ranged from the design of high-strength porous concrete to roof structures.
You may also be able to graduate sooner with a Graduate Certificate in Engineering Technology after completing 4 units.
