Master of Learning and Development (Adult & Professional Workplace Learning)

There is growing demand for educators who are able to design, implement and deliver a range of learning opportunities for adults in the workplace and the wider community.

USQ’s Master of Learning & Development (Adult, Professional and Workplace Learning) provides the opportunity for you to extend your expertise in facilitated learning outside of school settings. It is ideal for professionals who work in adult and workplace learning environments.

Through this eight unit-degree, you will explore lifelong adult career development and the changing world of work, extending your knowledge in facilitation, assessing and instructional design in traditional and new learning environments such as social networks and mobile technologies.

Designed to tap into your work environment and apply theory to practice, you will also complete 50 hours of instructional practice as part of your degree.

Study flexibility

If you are not sure whether you would like to complete an entire Masters degree, apply to study USQ’s Postgraduate Certificate in Learning & Development (Adult & Professional Workplace Learning) and take the credit from your studies to the Master of Learning and Development if you decide to continue studying.

A pathway also exists to the Doctor of Education or Doctor of Philosophy.

Career outcomes

The Master of Learning & Development (Adult, Professional and Workplace Learning) will enhance the knowledge and skills of education officers, development officers and workplace mentors in adult professional and workplace learning environments globally.
