• Completed an accredited post-Year 12 qualification equivalent to at least 2 years full-time study¹
  or
• Completed a minimum of at least 5 years relevant work experience¹

Applicants with overseas academic qualifications in accounting should write to either of the following professional bodies for an assessment of their qualifications, prior to applying for enrolment in the program: CPA Australia or the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Credit for previous study or work experience

You may be eligible for credit if you have previously studied or have relevant work experience. This will help to reduce the number of courses that you need to study to finish your program.

A number of other pathways are also available if you haven’t been able to study previously or don’t meet the requirements for entry into your program of interest.

• IELTS: 6.5 (or better) (no component lower than 6.0)
• TOEFL (paper based): 570 (or better) (with minimum test of written English score of 5)
• TOEFL (electronic): 230 (or better) (with essay rating of at least 5)
• TOEFL (internet based): 90 (or better) (with 20 minimum in all bands)
• Pearson (PTE Academic): 58 (or better) (with no communicative score lower than 58)
• Singapore, Hong Kong, British 'O' Level English: 'C' or better
