Master of Project Management
Join hundreds of successful graduates from this program to be part of the next wave of project managers working world-wide on some of the most exciting projects imaginable.
Why Project Management?
Project management is now an integral part of senior management positions as a process of facilitating change or adding value to an organisation. Project management is the discipline of organising and managing the resources of a project from planning to completion within a series of constraints such as time, cost and scope to meet predefined objectives.
As a project is, by definition, a one-off endeavour that is undertaken for a specific reason and with strictly defined resources, the process of project management requires specific business-related skills. Our Master of Project Management will give you these skills and knowledge so that you can manage small, medium and large-sized projects as a senior team leader, project manager or project director.
You can choose between two strands, Project Management and Complex Project Management and can also choose to specialise in other Faculty of Business and Law coursework masters programs.
Learn from passionate teachers
Our lecturers are so passionate about teaching project management they have won awards for it. Dr Barrie Todhunter and Dr John Whitty were awarded a national Citation from the Office of Learning and Teaching for Outstanding Contributions to Student learning for the development of the Intensive Workshop mode of delivery.
Take advantage of intensive workshop mode
Depending on your other time commitments, you may choose to study via our intensive workshop mode. With this option, comprehensive study materials are sent to you and the program is taught via intensive teaching blocks, whereby a full semester’s lectures are condensed into two 3-day workshops.
You will spend these workshops on-campus in Springfield, reviewing materials, examining case studies, and learning from leading industry practitioners. This mode enables you to benefit from peer-to-peer learning, while giving you the flexibility to balance your study, work and lifestyle.
