Postgraduate Diploma of Professional Psychology

Have you already completed a four year Psychology degree and looking to obtain full Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) registration? USQ’s Postgraduate Diploma of Professional Psychology, along with an extra year of supervised practice in the workplace has been designed to get you into the workplace as a practising psychologist.  

Busy schedule? No problem, this degree is designed with flexibility in mind. Workshops are scheduled over the weekend during semester so you can integrate the studies with your work and family commitments.

Career opportunities

A lot of students who study psychology use it as a stepping stone to other careers, but graduates of this degree can work as an actual Psychologist.

Professional accreditation

Upon completion of this degree and your supervised practice, you will gain full registration with the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC). You will also be able to apply for general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia as well as full membership to the Australian Psychological Society once you have completed the extra year of supervised practice.
