International opportunities

Teaching internationally offers wonderful opportunities to broaden your teaching skills and knowledge. The Faculty of Education has partnerships with independent schools overseas that can offer you this unique opportunity.

If you have successfully completed two professional experience placements, you may be eligible to take advantage of one of these opportunities:

• Sarasas Ektra School, Bangkok, Thailand

  Each year up to15 USQ students can apply to participate in an exchange program in Bangkok, Thailand. If accepted, you complete a professional experience placement as a component of your program with Sarasas Ektra School.

Organise your own International experience

Aside from the opportunities offered formally by the Faculty, you can organise your own international placements. Any proposals should be discussed with the program coordinator of your specialisation prior to the submission of an application.

The number of professional experience placements that can be taken overseas is limited.

Applications for any school placement overseas will be considered on its merit and suitability to fulfil relevant course requirements.
