Calendar
The dates for all Professional Experiences are set in an annual calendar.
The Professional Experience Calendar corresponds to designated block codes in SONIA and specific times for the internship. All experiences need to be completed within a semester of study in order for grades to be finalised.
All USQ students are expected to undertake the Professional Experience during the specified dates. It is not permitted to make individual arrangements with sites to change these dates. In exceptional circumstances, changes to the dates may be requested, in writing, to the professional experience office and will require substantial supporting documentation.
The placements for each specialisation are to be attended at specifc sites e.g. Early Childhood in childcare and Special Education - in special education settings as directed in the 2012 Professional Experience Specialisation Placements (PDF 54KB). In some placements, students are required to return to the same site for their consective course in the following semester.
