Identified Indigenous Schools
The Faculty of Education collaborates with the Senior Recruitment Officer for Identified Indigenous Schools to secure placements in the Torres Strait, North Queensland and Indigenous communities. These opportunities require a commitment for seeking employment in Indigenous communities as this placement process involves expensive airfares and the availability of accommodation.
Students are encouraged to contact us (the professional experience office) as early as possible and commit to accepting a placement if one were to become available.
Isolated Children's Project (ICP)
ICP is a three week non-evaluated professional experience opportunity for USQ Preservice Educators which takes place in February each year.
