- lower primary (Prep-year 3)
- literacy
- second language teaching
- science

- ...or courses from secondary teaching ares.
*Note: Not all focus areas are available at all campuses.
Within the primary specialisation there is also the opportunity to choose a middle years of schooling (Years 5 – 9) pathway. This pathway provides pre-service teachers with specialised skills and strategies to engage students effectively during this complex transition period.
You can exit from the Bachelor of Education program with an award after completion of 8,16 or 24 approved units.
Professional accreditation
The Bachelor of Education and Graduate Diploma of Learning and Teaching programs are recognised by the Queensland College of Teachers, the major professional body in Queensland, and similar bodies in other states of Australia.
