This enrolment guide is to help you understand all the steps required to successfully enrol in your courses. You cannot enrol via this website.

At USQ you will enrol in your courses (subjects) via an online system called Student Centre within UConnect.

Note: Not all steps in the enrolment process are available to all students, for example, students enrolled via an Educational Partner and students undertaking cross-institutional or professional development studies at USQ.

step 1Prepare to enrol in your courses

Prior to enrolling online, you should:

  1. respond to QTAC, accepting your USQ offer if you are a new student who applied through QTAC 
  2. have your USQ username and password handy – new students will find these on your offer letter  
  3. go to the USQ Handbook and find your program (e.g. Bachelor of Business) 
  4. go to the recommended enrolment pattern link, which you will find on the left hand side of the screen, and write down the codes and mode of study for the courses you will be studying. At this point it’s always a good idea to make sure you check the semester availability of your course 

step 2Enrol in your courses

Where possible you should enrol for the whole academic year to ensure a place in the courses you are planning to study. Centrelink also advise that students enrol for the entire academic year if they are claiming Centrelink benefits.

(Remember, that you will need to complete the Pre-Enrolment Wizard before your enrolment in your selected courses will be finalised.)

When you first enrol or at the beginning of each year you will be asked to complete the pre-enrolment wizard. This includes accepting the disclaimer, updating/checking your contact details and statistical information, nominating an exam centre and selecting payment and program options.

Online enrolment is accessed through the Student Centre within UConnect. Log in to UConnect using your USQ username and password, then choose the UDo tab to enrol.

Changing your enrolment

Throughout the year you may like to change your enrolment, such as adding or dropping courses, changing your exam centre or updating your personal details.
