Leave of absence

Leave of absence is approval granted to continuing students to cease formal study as an enrolled student for a specific period of time. This is normally for a whole academic (calendar) year.

Students who wish to be absent from study for just one semester in an academic year, do not need to apply for leave of absence. It is only necessary to enrol in the semesters in which you intend to study in.

All periods of leave of absence shall be counted as part of the maximum period allowed for completion of the program as specified in the program regulations.
