What's On in February

This month, we invite you to join us for some fabulous music and exciting exhibitions at USQ.

We will also be welcoming our new and returning students during the O-Week and hope to see you at the University's inaugural Phoenix Carnival on 24 February.

Sizzling Jazz at Twilight

Sleek Brisbane ensemble, Laique will visit on 13 February to open our 2013 Twilight Series. Don't miss their sizzling vintage styled-swing, inspired by 1930s Paris jazz and the flamenco music of Spain.

For you chance to WIN a double pass to see the Twilight Jazz Recital, simply send us an email, with 'Sizzling Jazz' as the subject to boxoffice@usq.edu.au - the winner will be drawn on 8 February and notified via email.

Summer School Success

After ten action packed days of music-making, creativity, socialising and performances, we bid a fond farewell to our McGregor Summer School friends!

Next on the McGregor calendar is Winter School in July and our all-new Spring School in September - enrolments open soon - stay tuned!

Fashionable Fundraising

Tables are filling fast for our annual Tracking the Arts Race Day on 9 March. It promises to be another splendid combination of creativity, excitement, racing, food, wine and fabulous people.

We hope you are able to come along and support the Arts, whilst enjoying a great day out, at an event with a difference!

Arts Gallery News

Drop into the Gallery this month to see Continuity - a selection of works from the University's Art Collection on-show until 7 February; and 1200 Degrees of Separation - an exhibition of traditional and contemporary ceramic works of art.

The Gallery is open from 9.00am-5.00pm, Monday to Friday and admission is free of charge.
