Winter School Silver Jubilee
 Our 25th annual USQ McGregor Winter School opens today (2 July).
Over 170 arts enthusiasts from across the nation will visit Toowoomba for the annual Arts Retreat - spending five days creating-up a storm.

Brassy Tunes at Twilight
 The next Twilight Recital will welcome visiting Canberra ensemble, The Brass Knuckle Brass Band for an exciting concert of original jazz, Latin, swing and funk-style music.

McGregor on the Bay
 Hervey Bay will be the picture-perfect backdrop for an exciting line-up of arts master classes at the fifth annual McGregor on the Bay (21-24 September).
The school will offer six visual and creative arts classes: Acrylic and Mixed Media with Mignon Parker; Watercolour with Clive Sinclair; Mixed Media with Cernak; Calligraphy with Mark Beaumont; Digital Photography with Don Hildred; and Romance Writing with Sandy Curtis.

Shakespeare Festival Update
 Rehearsals for our 2012 mainstage production of Richard III start this month.
This year, audiences will be treated to a spectacular mainstage season held on the University's front lawn, bringing to life one of Shakespeare's most captivating and charismatic villains.
Also on the Festival program will be a double-bill celebrating the Bard on film; Shakespeare on Screen and the return of the highly popular To Glee or Not to Glee night.

 Join us for a quirky discussion of ideas, origins of language and deconstruction of everyday topics at the Twilight Think Twice Talk (8 August).
