Recital Celebrates Spring
Celebrate the start of Spring at the Twilight Brass Recital, featuring Toowoomba's highly successful Municipal Band on 9 September.
Under the baton of Lorraine Fuller, they will perform an upbeat program of music by some of the best and latest composers and arrangers for brass band.

Burchmore Joins Big Band
Australian Entertainer of the Year, Rhonda Burchmore will appear at the Empire Theatre with the Ergon Energy USQ Big Band on 3 October.
Renowned for her effervescent personality and stunning voice, Rhonda will join the band to sing such favourites as Sway, Fly Me to the Moon, Too Darn Hot, Fever, L-O-V-E, Do You Know What it Means to Miss New Orleans, Can't Buy Me Love, At Last, For Once in My Life, and Big Spender ... just to name a few!
Other Big Band favourites on the program include Tuxedo Junction, Bye Bye Blackbird, Bohemian Rhapsody, Macauthur Park, Battle Hymn of the Republic and Route 66.

Gallery Going-Ons
Drop into the USQ Arts Gallery (in ‘A’ Block) and see our exciting new exhibition - The Wallpaper Project.
The range of contemporary art wallpapers have been produced using works by Rob McHaffie, Anne Wallace (in collaboration with Aaron Hill), Lisa Radford, Simon Mee, Tiffany Shafran, Sadie Chandler and Megan Keating.
The exhibition will run from 7-28 September, after which, it will tour into several galleries throughout Queensland.

Race Day a Galloping Success
Over 260 people enjoyed our inaugural Tracking the Arts Race Day on Saturday 29 August.
The day raised over $10 000 - funds which will provide a much-needed financial injection into the production of our 2010 season - thankyou to everyone who sponsored, supported and attended!
