Program Revitalisation is part of the Program Portfolio Review and Renewal project, a major subproject of the Realising Our Potential project, and is itself made up of 4 major sub-projects:
The Course and Program Mapping Project,
The Academic Professional Development Project,
The Vertical integration Project, and
The Technology Enhanced Learning and Flexible Delivery Project
These projects are managed by the Learning and Teaching Support Unit in conjunction with the Division of Academic and Information Services (DAIS).

Objectives
The objectives of the ROP Program Revitalisation Project are to:
create a program focus through program development planning;
provide resources and professional development support for program development planning;
develop a course and program management system;
develop sustainable processes for the development and maintenance of high quality courses and programs at USQ;
provide streamlined, flexible, vertically integrated programs with quality assessment;
facilitate students’ learning journeys through the provision of flexible, high quality courses and programs;
provide students with quality learning and choices within programs and courses; and
resource and support an annual cycle of program quality review and improvement.
Expected outcomes
By 2009 the top 20 USQ programs will:
comply with relevant USQ policies, plans and reports with particular reference to the Program Revitalisation Project;
operate in defined fleximodes which ensure that all students, regardless of location, have access to the same, innovative learning resources;
engage with annual program review cycle that addresses evaluation outcomes;
have a sustained process of change and innovation that is quality assured through compliance with USQ processes as embedded in an online Course and Program Management System.
