Informing principles
Assessment is the primary means by which the University can demonstrate the development of graduate qualities and skills in its students. However, not all assessment develops graduate qualities and skills equally well. The aim of this sub-project is to enable academic staff to develop assessment that develops targeted graduate qualities and skills.
Goals
Update and align existing materials and professional support relating to assessment to reflect new USQ Graduate Qualities policy.
Develop new support materials, where required, which explicitly link assessment design with the development of USQ Graduate Qualities.
Strategic alignment
This aligns with Program Revitalisation Sub-Project area for curriculum mapping: Graduate Qualities and Skills. It aligns with broader institution strategic focus and policy relating to assessment and assessment practices.
