Goals

  • Using a developmental model of skill development for students, support staff aspirations towards plagiarism and collusion prevention.

  • To support the development and use of standardised communication and referencing guides for each faculty.

  • To provide clear and consistent procedures within and between faculties to administer cases of academic misconduct with particularly focus on:

    • cases of suspected plagiarism and collusion; and

    • use of plagiarism detection software.

Preparation of staff resources on strategies to minimise collusion (see embedding academic skills and assessment plan), include merging of Plagiarism Web Site with resources for students and so remove plagiarism tag from web address.
