The study of information systems examines the interaction between people and technology. Its practical application aims to resolve technological issues encountered in organisations through effective management and analysis of information. IT is one of the fastest growing of all disciplines, and is relevant to all sectors of business and government.

Programs

USQ's Faculty of Business offers a variety of programs and courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

The School of Information Systems offers programs which are vocationally oriented and our integrated range of technical and business programs, such as systems analysis and design, networks and distributed systems and database design, provides a foundation for a career in this rapidly developing area.

Professional accreditation

The Bachelor of Information Technology, Bachelor of Business and the Master of Information Technology Professional are accredited with the Australian Computer Society (ACS).

Employers are seeking information technology graduates with business skills and knowledge.
