If you are applying for a Postgraduate program, you apply directly to USQ in three easy steps.

Step 1 - Submit your application
Apply directly to USQ by completing our online application form.
Applications for Research Master and Doctorate programs apply through the Office of Research and Higher Degrees. |

Step 2 - Supply supporting documentation
Details of completed studies must be supported by certified documentary evidence. This may include academic transcripts, previous qualification certificates, and your resume. |

Step 3 - Notification of offer
Once your application and supporting documentation has been received and assessed, you will receive a letter of offer from USQ in the mail. |
Questions about postgraduate study at USQ
Here are some answers to the most common postgraduate application questions:
When do I need to apply?
- Applications for Semester 2, 2012 closed on Friday 6 July, 2012
- To start in Semester 3, 2012 submit your application by Monday 29 October, 2012
- To start in Semester 1, 2013 submit your application by Monday 11 February, 2013
Exceptions to these dates:
Graduate Diploma of Learning and Teaching and Graduate Diploma of Teaching
- To start in Semester 1, 2013 submit your application by Monday 4 February, 2013
Master of Psychology (Clinical), Doctor of Psychology (Clinical) and Master of Midwifery
- To start in Semester 1, 2013 submit your application by Monday 29 October, 2012
Postgraduate Diploma of Professional Psychology
- To start in Semester 1, 2013 submit your application by Monday 21 January, 2013
How can I check on the status of my application?
You will be notified by USQ when your application is received, and when it has been processed. If we require any further details from you to process your application, we will contact your directly.
What if I didn’t get in?
There are a number of reasons why offers are not made, including a higher than expected program cut-off, admission requirements not being met, or insufficient supporting documentation. You should:
- check entry requirements for programs you applied for
- search for other programs for which you meet the entry requirements and selection rank, and
- contact us for assistance with alternative pathways and study options.
