Master your choice of theatre performance, theory or stage management at Australia’s second oldest actor-training institution. You will be given the skills to sustain a career in theatre by creating your own material for performance and get an equal mix of studio and practice and theory-led learning.
There will be plenty of opportunities to showcase your skills in real theatre environments during the annual Children’s Festival, TV scenes, show-reels and the magical Shakespeare in the Park Festival.
You will be taught by lecturers who have made feature films, documentaries and worked in television and radio. They have decades of industry experience and will give you cutting edge training in the skills the industry are looking for now.
Our Master of Arts (Theatre) offers you an advanced understanding of the nature and impact of drama and theatre in human society. It will develop your skills in critical analysis and problem solving, allowing you to explore the intersection between theory and practice in theatrical contexts.
