Mechatronic Engineering

Based on leading research and the combination of electrical and mechanical engineering, USQ’s Mechatronic Engineering programs will give you the skills and practical experience you want for a successful professional career.

Previous students have produced projects in the fields of the use of LEGO in the recovery process of stroke victims, designing a force feedback system for use in direct human to machine interfacing and obstacle detection using vision for mobile robots.

Graduates from Mechatronic Engineering programs will be exposed to career opportunities as a Mechatronics Engineers, Robotics Specialists, Control Engineering, Automation Engineering or Cross Disciplinary Engineering in the mining, Government, agriculture, health, automotive and aeronautical fields.
