On-campus study
Studying on-campus with USQ gives you the opportunity to mix with people of all different backgrounds, nationalities, age groups and interests. We also offer award winning Distance Education – with 15,000 of our students choosing to study with us, from locations across Australia, and the globe.
Where are the USQ campuses?
USQ’s main campus at Toowoomba is located on the Great Dividing Range, on the edge of the Darling Downs in Queensland. Toowoomba is Australia’s second largest inland city (after Canberra) with 120,000 people. It retains its small town charm whilst offering all the services of a large city.
We also have campuses at the Fraser Coast (Hervey Bay) and at Springfield – which is only 25 minutes from the Brisbane CBD. These campuses together are home to 6000 students and 1500 staff – and where around 800 overseas students from 80 countries have chosen to further their education.
Why study on-campus?
Studying on-campus at USQ can be a rewarding way to undertake a university degree in a safe and friendly multicultural environment with modern facilities and a relatively low cost of living.
Attending lectures and tutorials allows for groups discussions and provides you with the opportunity to work through examples and attempt practical questions.
Some courses (subjects), particularly those in science and engineering areas, also require students to attend practical laboratory sessions where hands-on activities such as experiments and use of specialist equipment are undertaken.
University life is not just about learning; it’s also about making friends and having fun, and studying on-campus at USQ is a great way to have this life experience.
