Open Access College

Offering our Tertiary Preparation Program, as well as a range of Diplomas that allow you to gain important university study skills (and sometimes credit) – all without a year 12 leaving certificate or Senior Schooling Qualification.

Open Access College programs are available both on-campus and online which gives you the flexibility to study full-time, part-time, at home or on-campus.

Tertiary Preparation Program

The TPP program is a program that will:

• Help you develop effective study habits, including time-management and independent learning skills
• Familiarise you with the standards expected at university
• Teach you the best techniques for note-taking, essay-writing, presentations and examinations
• Guarantee your entry into the first year of your nominated USQ degree when successfully completed.

Foundation Diplomas

These Diplomas will equip you with the skills to successfully respond to the numeracy, literacy, and e-literacy demands of higher education studies and the professional workplace, as well as assisting students to successfully manage the complexities of life/work balance.

You will also gain a broad introduction to study in your chosen discipline (subject) area and will be given knowledge of foundation issues and principles in your area.
