Pathways to study with USQ
At USQ we know that not everyone’s situation is straight forward or clear cut, but we also believe that if you want to study at university, you are able to.
Perhaps you didn’t finish school, or you didn’t do as well as you had hoped, or you just want to ‘brush up’ on your maths or study skills to make sure you get the best possible start.
Foundation Diplomas
The four new Foundation Diplomas provide credit towards your first year of study with USQ. They are available in the areas of: Business, Engineering, Science, and Social Science.
Tertiary Preparation Program (TPP)
The Tertiary Preparation Program, is a free program that gives you all the skills you need to succeed in your degree. It also guarantees you entry to a USQ undergraduate (first) degree upon successful completion.
Indigenous Higher Education Pathways Program (IHEPP)
The Indigenous Higher Education Pathways Program has been specifically designed to give tertiary preparation skills to Indigenous students.
TAFE students or Cert III or IV holders
At USQ we give credit where credit is due. If you have completed study with a TAFE college you may be eligible for direct entry and credit toward your degree. Find out more information about coming to uni directly from TAFE.
