Auditions and interviews
In addition to your QTAC or direct entry application, you will need to attend an audition and/or interview depending on your choice of discipline.
Dates
Applicants applying for more than one major may attend their interviews on the same day. In extreme circumstances relating to distance, etc it is possible to organise a telephone interview, please email us. There is no fee for auditions/interviews held at the Toowoomba and Springfield campuses.
Music applicants:
- if auditioning in Toowoomba, you will need to provide your own accompanist (if applicable)
- if auditioning in Springfield, you may submit an unedited DVD performance of two contrasting works, two weeks prior to the interview date.

It is essential that you bring along your latest school academic results and comments about your scholastic and creative abilities from teachers and/or industry connections. In addition to:
- a passport-sized photo of yourself
- a school exit statement or evidence of previous education standard achieved
- folio of achievements and references
- 500 word project or one page statement addressing criteria (for your major).
