What if I didn't get in?
If you didn’t get into the course you wanted, it is okay! There are a number of reasons why offers are not made, including a higher than expected program cut-off, admission requirements not being met, or a late change of preference. But this does not mean that you cannot study at USQ! We want to help you achieve your goals, and we offer a number of programs and entry pathways that will set you on your way to university education.
- The first thing you should do is check the entry requirements for the program for which you applied. You may not have met the entry requirements and therefore would not be offered a place in the program.
- If you do not meet the entry requirements for the program you first enrolled in, search for other programs for which you meet the entry requirements and selection rank.
- If there is another offer round, you can change your preferences so that you may be offered a position in a program that you chose to be your safety programs.
If you do not meet the entry requirements for a degree program, or still do not get offered a position in further rounds, you can apply for entry into one of the various USQ Preparatory Pathway Programs that are designed to assist you to gain entry into university award programs. These programs are a wonderful way to experience university education while meeting the entry requirements for your original program.
