Terms and conditions

  1. The Success Campaign promotion is conducted by The University of Southern Queensland (USQ), Toowoomba, Queensland, 4530, ABN: 40 234 732 081. 
  2. Information on how to enter forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in the Competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  3. The Competition commences at 9am (AEST) on Wednesday 24th April 2013 and concludes Friday 29th February 2014 at 5pm (AEST) (‘the Competition Period’).
  4. Entry is free and open to all who complete the form ‘What does success mean to you’ online via www.usq.edu.au/future-students/success during the Competition Period.
  5. Employees and immediate families of USQ and suppliers, providers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
  6. Only one entry per person is permitted.
  7. All entries must be received by 5pm (AEST) on the last day of each month.
  8. One winner will be selected in a random draw from all valid entries received by USQ. Each prize draw will take place at O1 Block, University of Southern Queensland, Toowoomba, Queensland, 4350 no more than 72 hours after the last day of each month. The winner will be notified by email.
  9. USQ will email or mail the monthly prize to the winner within five (5) working days of the winner acceptance of prize. The winner will need to provide email or mail details upon acceptance of prize.
  10. In the event the monthly prize is unclaimed, a second chance draw will occur at the same place as the original draw within 10 working days of the prize draw date. The winner of the second prize draw will be notified by email.
  11. All valid entries drawn will receive a Red Balloon Gift Voucher valued at AU$200. In the event that the winner is unable to use a Red Balloon Gift Voucher, being they reside in another country other than Australia, an Amazon Voucher valued at AU$200 will be awarded.
  12. USQ takes no responsibility for voucher expire date. It is the sole responsibility of the winner to check the voucher expire date and use the voucher within this time.
  13. Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  14. The total prize pool value for each valid entry winner is AU$200. The total prize pool for the Competition Period if AU$2,000.
  15. Entrants may be contacted and/or receive email updates from USQ about programs, promotions and events unless USQ is notified otherwise by hitting the ‘Unsubscribe’ link in the email communication or emailing study@usq.edu.au and requesting to be removed from the USQ database.

  17. USQ will not disclose any personal or contact information to third parties.
  18. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of USQ which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, USQ reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion subject to any written directions under applicable legislation. USQ also reserves the right to disqualify any individual who USQ has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion.
