Step 3 - Apply online

To begin study in Semesters 1, 2 or 3, applications to undergraduate programs by Non Year 12s are made by lodging an application through the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC):

Applicants who cannot access the ABW online service can complete a QTAC Tertiary Study Application Form available within the QTAC Guide: Tertiary Courses which can be purchased from newsagencies throughout Queensland.

Applicants should note that only one application can be lodged in any one admissions period. 

Supporting documentation

Applicants need to supply certified supporting documentation within 7 days from the lodgement of your QTAC application. Details of completed studies and employment must be supported by certified documentary evidence, which requires a signature by a:

  • Justice of the Peace
  • Commissioner for Declarations
  • solicitor or barrister
  • police officer
  • teacher
  • member of permanent academic staff of a tertiary institution
  • USQ staff member
  • USQ agency staff member.

Closing dates

Students need to submit their applications prior to the QTAC closing date to ensure additional processing charges do not apply.
