What does off-campus study involve?
Students are sent a study package for each course in which they are enrolled prior to the commencement of each semester. The cost of producing and distributing these study packages is included as part of the tuition fee.
Study packages are a comprehensive week-by-week guide to each course. The packages contain all the information that on-campus students receive during their lectures and tutorials. They may include:
-
study books,
-
selected readings from journals, newspapers or books,
-
audio tapes and/or video tapes,
-
computer managed learning booklets,
-
CD ROMs or floppy disks,
-
assignment information,
-
exercises, tutorial questions and answers.
