TAFE students

What can I study?

If you have completed a certificate III or higher, an advanced certificate, associate diploma, diploma or advanced diploma through TAFE you are eligible to apply for undergraduate programs at USQ. USQ offers a wide range of progams in many different fields. The most difficult thing is choosing which one is right for you!

Because USQ is not a traditional university, it means you have a choice of locations and modes of study. You might like to think about where you are located, how much time you have to study, and what mode of study (distance or on-campus) would suit you best.

How do I apply for:

As a holder of a TAFE award you may receive credit for your studies if you are accepted into a related USQ program. That means you will spend less time undertaking your degree, and you will pay less.

A number of TAFE institutions and private providers have relationships with USQ, enabling TAFE students to apply directly to USQ for programs in the business and IT fields. Contact us for more information on these arrangements.

How much will it cost?

While at university you will incur fees and expenses related to your study. To assist you with this cost USQ offers over 100 scholarships.

Where can I get support?

USQ provides excellent academic and personal support to all students.
