Teachers and Career Advisors

USQ offers a number of resources for teachers, guidance officers and career advisors providing information to assist prospective students considering their further education options.

These resources include a comprehensive suite of publications (available in both electronic and hard copy), an extensive school liaison program involving campus tours and school visits, guidance officer information days and transition forums throughout the year.

The 2009 Guidance Officer days across the three campuses were once again a great success. The PowerPoints for Fraser Coast (1790 KB), Springfield (1718 KB) and Toowoomba (1710 KB) are now available for viewing.

As part of the school liaison program, the Head Start program will again be offered in 2009. This program is designed to give high achieving students the opportunity to commence university study whist completing their secondary education.

There are also a wide range of scholarships available to prospective students. 

USQ aims to assist teachers, guidance officers and career advisors through the provision of various professional development resources and opportunites.
