Teachers and Career Advisors

USQ offers a number of resources for teachers, guidance officers and career advisors providing information to assist prospective students considering their further education options.

These resources include a comprehensive suite of publications (available in both electronic and hard copy), an extensive school liaison program involving campus tours and school visits, guidance officer information days and transition forums throughout the year.

As part of the school liaison program, the Head Start program will again be offered in 2008. This program is designed to give high achieving students the opportunity to commence university study whist completing their secondary education.

Specific information about the flexible study modes, career prospects, fees and applying to USQ is also available for:

• school leavers;
• mature students;
• TAFE students; and
• students studying at other universities. 

There are also a wide range of scholarships available to prospective students. 

USQ aims to assist teachers, guidance officers and career advisors through the provision of various professional development resources and opportunites.
